1/8/2024 0 Comments Mega man 11 superhero mode![]() ![]() Small decline, but an otherwise excellent game. It's a tacked-on, 'progression' element that really has no place in the game - all the progression Mega Man ever needed was the different weapons you get from defeating bosses. Mega Man 11 adds the Speed and Power Gear while keeping the original style of Mega Man most of us have grown up with. These items make the game significantly easier. C apcom’s Mega Man 11 is part of the 30 years anniversary celebration and is being directed by Koji Oda and produced by Kazuhiro Tsuchiya. This is in addition to the actual permanent powerups from the shop - there's an item that makes you slide less in ice, another that reduces the knockback from getting hit. Just started Superhero mode, and I guess the enemy placement will be just the same as the normal mode. They should have removed the shop entirely in Superhero mode, but that mode instead eliminates powerup/energy drops and ups the bolt drops - an especially retarded decision. I’ll start with Casual Mode and use it for comparison. For the rest of us, there’s Normal mode, and for the insane, there’s Superhero Mode. Build on the mechanics, accessibility, and everything that Mega Man 11 brought to the table. Mega Man 11 makes the return of Capcoms Blue Bomber and he doesnt waste any time getting you back into the groove. So itll be nice to have that wide range of difficulty again. And of course you know us hardcore players love us some Superhero mode. ![]() Without buying anything, the game is definitely the hardest Mega Man yet. Really liked LastSoldier s post about how the game is so much more accessible thanks to the casual mode. It would be fine if bolts dropped less, if lives/energy tanks were more expensive and if you didn't get to keep your bolts if you die like a retard and can't finish the level. It's lame that bolts (the in-game currency used to buy shit from the shop) are so easy to get (there's even a specific power up that increases the number of bolts dropped) and that they get credited even if you run out of lives/manually exit out of the stage from the menu. I have to amend my previous post to say that the game is, yes, really hard - but only if you limit yourself to not purchasing stuff from the shop.Īny stage is pretty easy to beat if you're stocked up with 9 lives and 9 energy tanks. ![]() 1/8/2024 0 Comments Drywall skim coat ceiling mesh![]() If the paint on the floor is in right circumstance you can do your skim coating. If the floor has cracks or damages, it’s higher to keep away from skim coating over the paint. However, you want to look at the floor earlier than skim coating the paint. Yes, it’s feasible to skim coat over surfaces that have already been painted. Despite skim coat being a splendid treatment for unpainted drywalls, the query is can you skim coat over paint? After it holds up to the surface, you can paint or enhance the wall as normal. Applying it entails spreading a joint compound in a wall to cowl and fill the seen deformities. More so, it helps carry to existence partitions that have been broken by means of the elimination of wallpapers. Skim coating is amongst the most attractive approaches of deterring the ugly texture of your painted walls. Drywall is a popular wall construction material because it is easy to install and provides a strong, durable wall. This means that you have no strategy whatsoever every turn, you ignore the results of the previous turn (even if you had hit a ship) and you randomly pick a new coordinate. What are the optimal plays that will help you win the most games?įirstly, let’s discuss the strategy that seems to always be the case: to choose every coordinate at random. Maybe, applying some game theory will help here. Furthermore, your father always plays without a strategy, thus it is also not possible to predict his behavior, unless by cheating by looking at a reflective surface to see his grid (which is unfortunately not allowed). After all, every choice of coordinate is completely random since you can not know where your rival has placed his ships. ![]() If you sink the entire fleet of your foe before he sinks your fleet, you have won the battle, and one point is added to your resume of the night.Īt first, this game seems to be based purely on luck. These ships can not overlap, but two different ships can be on neighboring coordinates. They can be vertically or horizontally placed, however, it is not allowed to place the ships diagonally. Each player has to place five ships of different sizes on a 10 by 10 grid. In this game, you imitate a battle at sea with your direct opponent. Written by Matthijs Kroesen en Sara Darwinkel Battleshipįirst, you move to the game of battleship, where your father is impatiently waiting for you. Time to do some research in this pursuit of glory. Ultimately, this will lead to becoming the big winner of the night – and thereby achieving eternal fame and the undying respect of the entire family. Fury and fire boil within: rather death than losing to that brat! Maybe there are some optimal strategies to wield when playing these games, where you will always win more games than your direct opponent. Your eight year old cousin proclaims proudly that he is going to beat everyone. A set of games – battleship, rock paper scissors, and guess who- are laid out on a table, and the one who wins the most games will be declared the big winner of the night. If you cannot have someone sit for you, consider creating a safe zone for your children and pets and check on them often. ![]() For example, doors get unintentionally left open, and small children and pets can slip outdoors in freezing temperatures. It can be dangerous for pets and small children when people come in and out of the house. Tip #9: Make A Plan for Your Children and PetsĪrrange for a trusted friend or family member to look after your children and pets while you are working. You also want to ensure that the utilities are turned on in your new home before you arrive so you can get the heat running immediately. You don’t want to forget to leave your utilities on after you move out of the home, but in an area where temperatures reach freezing, it is essential to have running heat for you and anyone helping you move. Tip #8: Make Sure Your Utilities Are Left On Reinforce your cardboard boxes with heavy-duty tape, and use plastic tubs for items you do not want to be affected by moisture. You can use plastic sheeting, garbage bags, or tarps to cover your things and keep them dry as you load them up. If it is actively sleeting or snowing, you must ensure your furniture and boxes don’t get wet. We recommend wearing moving gloves with rubber grips-regular cloth mittens or gloves do not allow you to get a good hold on boxes and furniture. A good coat, hat, earmuffs, and gloves should be available to everyone working outdoors in freezing temperatures. Boots or sneakers with good traction will give you a better chance of avoiding injury. Wear warm clothes to protect against hypothermia and proper footwear for walking on slippery ground. A hard fall on a driveway can cause significant injury and delay your move. Doing this will make your move go by quicker and reduce fall risk. Instead, take the time to shovel snow out of your walkways and salt the frozen areas. Tip #5: Clear Your Outdoor Walkwaysĭon’t try to carry furniture or boxes on icy walkways. This method will also allow you to spend less time outdoors in the freezing temperatures. Then, when that batch is loaded, you can come inside and have a hot coffee, tea, or cocoa to warm up before filling the staging room again. Once that room is complete, you can carefully load those items into your container. Gather as many of your boxes and pieces of furniture as will fit in the staging area. The door closest to the portable storage unit would be ideal. Instead of moving your boxes and furniture from each room, across the house, outside into the inclement weather, and then coming back inside to clean off your shoes and do it all over again, consider creating a staging zone near one of the home’s entry points. Wet and muddy shoes can stain the carpets in your home, causing an unnecessary mess to deal with before you vacate the property. Place absorbent mats at the entryways so everyone has a place to clean their shoes or boots off. Use rugs, mats, long pieces of cardboard, or tarps to create protected walkways in your home. Consider offering everyone on your crew “hot hands” packets to place in their pockets to warm up frosty fingers. Extremities like your head, hands, and feet will need extra protection to keep warm. Everyone must wear appropriate winter clothing and gear on moving day to stay warm and safe. Here are some of the things we recommend you add to your winter moving supplies:Īnother tip: make sure not to pack away winter accessories like gloves, scarves, wool socks, snow boots, and hats. ![]() You will need winter-specific supplies if you intend to move in the snow. This will require some patience as circumstances outside your control will likely delay your timeline. It is normal to try and get your things moved to your new home as quickly as possible, but you will need to have some flexibility built into your schedule so you can slow down and work as the weather allows. We recommend creating a flexible moving plan if you live in an area with frequent snow or ice. Successful Winter Moving Day Tips Tip #1: Be Flexible and Plan to Be Patient While moving during the snowy season of winter or during the hectic holiday season is not optimal, you can be prepared with the following tips. ![]() So what do you do? You expect the best but prepare for the worst. Plus, if you are moving around during the winter holidays, you may have the added stress of planning for family gatherings and holiday shopping while planning for a big move. The biggest challenges are the unpredictable weather and the cold temperatures. Depending on the part of the country you are moving to or from, moves during the winter months can come with their own unique set of challenges. ![]() 1/7/2024 0 Comments Topaz denoise plugin photoshop![]() ![]() The 'Denoise' plugin does a good job on most images, as long as one doesn't try to remove all noise from high ISO shots. Those are the plugins I'd concentrate one. Sharpening is always important, although their 'Infocus' plugin could use some upgrades in functionality. Both are very important for rendering images that have a tangible feeling to them. Sofar, 'Clarity' does magic for how (local) Contrast is rendered, and 'Detail' does wonders on structural detail. That means that they need to keep producing new plugins to attract new customers.įortunately, with the new plugins also comes new functionality, and some have pretty good functionality or real improvements over previous versions, although some plugins have a bit of an Instagram type of functionality (some even have a 'I feel lucky' kind of Random settings button) if one only uses the presets.īut the underlying technology is quite good, one just needs to decide ahead of time what the goal is that one needs to work towards, and which tool is best for that. I can understand that, but it's partly due to their business model purchase once, free upgrades for life. So Photoshop gets less important to produce a final product/image as time goes by, unless one has to deal with very complex compositing jobs or has to collaborate in teams. It may be hard for C1 to achieve the specialized quality that some plug-ins have to offer, but C1 is on the right track, as far as I'm concerned, so plugin integration might be something to consider instead of re-inventing the wheel (unless its a better one). There are other things that can/need to be improved as well, but those two would be the main ones that add real workflow functionality for me, YMMV. First is an improved sharpening functionality, for both Capture and Output sharpening, and second is more layers functionality even for compositing multiple images and a Blend-If functionality would be very welcome in that case. There are two things I currently miss most in Capture One Pro, besides some general improvements. So a lot depends on what one finally does with the images. Yes, workflows differ for different purposes. To a certain extent it will help determine where I direct my learning effort. I realise this is a very open question, but I would it would be extremely useful to hear what people have to say. I also wonder whether, with both OnOne and Topaz photofxlab giving interfaces that give access to all their plugins through a single interface, including layers, that can be launched directly from C1, whether photoshop in some circumstances could be dropped all together. For example, I find I struggle with high iso noise in C1, so either use DXO instead, or use Topaz Denoise, but that could well be my lack of expertise in C1.ģ. If so, what are the important plugins, or PS features you use. So once in PS, what is that gets done there, and is it primarily to use a Plugin. Photoshop often seems to be simply used an interface to Plugins, not always of course. Could you do more in C1, but move to PS simply because you are more used to doing things in PS, or have you reached some unavoidable limitation in C1.Ģ. So, what triggers you moving your file out of C1 and into PS. It seems that many people seem move to PS fairly quickly, while others will try and do as much they can in C1. When does it makes sense to stop "trying" to do something in C1 and move onto a different program or Plugin. So the questions I appreciate some thoughts on, are:ġ. ![]() Currently, I am trying to do as much as possible in C1. As someone who is still trying to find their feet in post processing, but now settled on C1 as my core program, I wonder if you could share some thoughts on how your C1 workflow interacts with other programs/plugins and whether you think this might change in the future.Įach new release of C1 seems to add capability, and I wondered when people felt the need to move their file into something else. ![]() 1/7/2024 0 Comments Promptdog serial![]() ![]() SGW Teleprompter Solutions – Chicago-based rentals and services company, featuring light-weight camera mount and executive speech teleprompters. – Los Angeles-based teleprompter rental and services company, featuring camera-mounted, “rolling stand” and executive prompter systems.
